The Wildnerness

Restaurant Name: The Wilderness

Location: 27 Warstone Ln, Birmingham B18 6JQ
Time Visiting: Lunch
Cost: £45pp

The Wilderness is the best place - ever.

The Wilderness what a little gem. Thank god for searching fine dining Birmingham and clicking on their website and then researching further. It took a while to find which I guess you could say added to the experience. The restaurant is set within a warehouse and as you enter its very small and cosy. The interior has incorporated the wilderness feel which includes a wall made of leaves and branches going up the walls. The tables are so shiny the ceiling reflects which I loved as it looked like the sky.

The lunch time set menu is a bargain at £35pp with the option to increase the price to include drink pairing. If you don’t do that a cocktail is £9. The menu is amazing the tastes are so well thought and unusual. Even if you don’t like something normal for example I am not a big fan on pork, in this restaurant it tasted amazing. You get 5 plates which weirdly enough fills you up, perhaps that’s because you also get home made sour dough bread. The whole experience lasts around 2 hours and you don’t even have the service charge included in the bill which is even more fantastic!

You must book in advance as its very popular. This is my favourite restaurant to date as the food is amazing, staff are amazing and for what you get the price is brilliant.
