Mowgli Indian Street Food

Restaurant Name: Mowgli
Location: Grand Central, Birmingham B2 4BF
Time Visiting: Early evening

Mowgli is an Indian street food restaurant in Birmingham Grand Central.

The restaurant's décor is fantastic and very authentic. I loved it, you have rolling pins at the ceiling when you enter and hanging swing chairs. There is rope throughout and lots of fairy lights. The menu price is very reasonable but the portion size is very small. For example a main dish is £6.95 and a side of rice is £2.50.

We visited on a Wednesday early evening and the restaurant was ever so busy. The service was good but when 3 of my friends returned their food as it was cold they didn't provide fresh rice so the main came back hot and the rice was now cold. I enjoyed my food as I chose what I knew I would like it: Keema and Puri but out of 12 of us 3 others didn't enjoy there food and wouldn't return.
