Da Hood

Da Hood is a food street market very famous in Patong.
It has many stalls all mainly selling fresh seafood and noodles. The food and drink price is considerably cheaper compared to the restaurant prices.

The sea food is fresh and alive, you choose what you want and then they cook/bbq it in-front of you. You can also get the best shakes/juices for very cheap and fried ice cream.

  • A fruit shake costs between 30-50 baht and in the restaurant they are 80-90 baht.
  • Pad Thai is around 80-100 baht and in a restaurant it is 150-180 baht
  • Grilled seafood is around 160-200 baht depending on the kg and what you choose and in the restaurant it is definitely more expensive.

We ate at Da Hood twice as the food is great, the atmosphere is good and the cost is cheap. Some of our meals are photographed below:

Chicken Pad Thai 80baht pp
Fruit shakes 40baht pp
Fried rice with prawns and pineapple 150 baht

Da Hood is near Big C (which is like a huge tesco) near the mcdonalds at Jungceylon. You can't miss it once your in the area.
