From Siem Reap to Sihanoukville

We were considering where to go next and we did think about staying a few days in Phomn Penh but then we decided not too as there is nothing to do there apart from the killing fields.

We passed through Phomn Penh and its a very busy city the country is so poor yet we were stuck in standstill traffic for over an hour on one road. They have many high rise buildings and shops its like a typical city but with dirt roads.

Our coach journey was very long. We travelled from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville which is as south as you can go. We needed to get to Sihanoukville as we wanted to visit the islands of Cambodia which aren't well known and not touristic. It took in total 14 hours and we had to swap coaches in Phomn Penh. There was air conditioning but no toilet.

$14 US dollars per person
