Fushimi Inari-taisha

Fushimi Inari-taisha is a shrine in Kyoto Japan which is 233 meters above sea level. This shrine is popular with tourists as the shrine trail takes about 2 hours to walk through.
Its perfect for the typical traditional Japanese shrine photo. Its very busy and your guaranteed to have other people in your selfies.

The area itself is very big and you could easily spend half a day. Make sure you wear comfy shoes and take water.  There are so many shrines to see and some of the walk is up hill but its so beautiful and when your there you really feel like your in Japan.

This shrine is dedicated to Inari the god of rice. There is a nice point here too.
