Bay of fires, Tasmania

Wow the beaches are breathtaking!! Literally luminous white sand beaches and pure clear blue waters. The perfect beach. Typical when I visit its freezing so their is only wind-bathing and the toe dipping but never the less the beach was the nicest beach I've seen, and I've seen lots of beaches.  The beach is very long and it seems you can just walk around the shore for forever.

There is a parking area outside the beach as you will find most people have travelled from far to visit. From Launceston to Bay of Fires its around 3 hours. But definitely worth the drive as the drive is so scenic and the beach is beyond beautiful.

The bay of fires got its name due to the Aboriginal people always lighting fires along the beach

Free and has a public toilet
