Park Regis Afternoon Tea

The Park Regis Hotel, Birmingham.
The hotel itself is gorgeous as soon as you enter your overwhelmed with the indulgent decor and everything is oh so insta worthy. The hotel has a restaurant and bar area with an outside terrance.
There isn't any parking though so you have to either pay and display or park in the NCP. Or visit on a Sunday like we did so you can park on the side roads for free of charge...result.

Once you enter the lobby you can take the stairs or lift to 4th floor which is the ground floor. Then you will find reception straight ahead and the restaurant area to the right. The afternoon tea was off too a good start because the venue itself was so relaxing, accommodating and very elegant.
We were seated at a booth table and after having the menu read to us we were left to our own devices of deciding what tea to have. Pretty simple, 3 English teas and one mint tea. Until we were told Starbucks coffee is unlimited. Ok so we will have 1 Americano and 2 mochas and then 1 tea...

The drinks arrive and shortly after so does the afternoon tea food. We didn't really know what to expect but in all honestly it was really nice. The sandwiches were: coronation chicken, smoked fish mouse bagel, feta rocket and sun-dried tomato and egg and watercress with a selection of cakes and scones with super delicious clotted cream.

We stayed for about 2 hours because once we start chatting we get carried away and of course we had to try the teas and compare the sandwiches to everywhere else we had been. The staff were lovely and very smiley which is always nice and even the toilets were pleasant.

I would definitely come back to visit, eat, and stay,
